How did something like this slip by me? Mario stood no chance on the box art! Dug up from the madness that is ImageShack by the guys at Cannot Unsee.

Holy shit, I’ve never really put too much thought into the Super Mario Bros cover. They actually put him on the cover about to die…that shit has just blown my mind. All these years and I’m just figuring that shit out now.

Game: Duke Nukem Forever
Console: X360

Well I got back on my bullshit, and found yet another glitch while playing a game. I just want to state that I don’t go looking for these glitches. I just happen to stumble across them, and if I can reproduce or catch it in action I’ll record it. There has been a lot of hate for the new Duke Nukem game, and I’m not really sure why people feel the way they do. I’m honestly having a great time with Duke. There is tons of fun to be had with this game, and I intend on spending many more hours exploring with Duke.

I say good job to the folks over at Gearbox, 3D Realms, and everyone else involved.

Game: L.A. Noire
Console: PS3

I was playing some L.A. Noire yesterday and I just happened to stumble onto this glitch. All I did was drive my car up this random driveway, and I noticed there was a sign floating in midair that read “Keep Out Private Property”. I thought it was weird, so I backed up to get a better look at the sign. Thats when the gate loads and my car gets stuck inside. After a few seconds of violently shaking around the car was forced into the driveway. Luckily I was able to get out of the car with no problems.

Who had a Speedboard? They totally sucked, but I totally had one.

Umm, I have no clue what this was meant for. I thought I’d share just in case someone had one of these. Now you have a flashback of some great times or quite possibly some horrible times like heyitsapril.

Virtual Boy!!! I played Mario Tennis on this every day for an entire summer! I want one again!

I never owned one of these, but whenever I went to Toys R Us I would spend way too much time playing the store demo. I would always ask my parents for one, but this was one of those request that just didn’t happen.
I like how you can also see a Sega Saturn in the background. I still had games for that console a few years back, but I ended up giving them to GFO. He actually still plays them every so often…he’s a true gamer.

Street Fighter x Tekken !!!

Nice, this makes me extremely happy. Just knowing this was at E3 lets me know how serious they are about actually making this game happen. I’ve been reading about how Capcom is woking hard on this game, but Namco pretty much has the game on its back burner. Since both companies are currently working on the game independent from the others opinions or input, I wonder if we’ll see two verisons of this game get released.

So I was playing the Infamous 2 demo, and I managed to find a bug/glitch. I enjoy finding random things like this in the games that I play. Maybe its because I found something the QA team missed.

Game: NBA JamHardware: iPhone
Alright let me start out by saying I’ve always been a fan of NBA Jam, but I was a little nervous when I saw EA was porting it to the iPhone. I was nervous because I’ve come across a few games that just have horrible controls on the phone, but this game plays beautifully on the phone. Granted there are some moments when I try to block and I hit the turbo button instead, and I think thats mainly due to my fat fingers. I’m also enjoying the unlockable items/people. I unlocked Scottie Pippen for the Chicago Bulls, and teaming him up with Derrick Rose is just an amazing duo. I play it a lot on my commute to and from work. It’s a perfect game to play when you’re in the mood or if you just want to kill some time. Plus all of the nostalgic moments from the original game are present in this remake.
The game looks good on the phone, and it has solid controls. What more could you ask for?
